Xue Wen Gao meets the Fidelio String Quartet.

East meets West.

A felicitous meeting of sounds and strings from the Far East and our more familiar Western Europe.
Not surprisingly, the whole is more than the sum of its parts. Xue Wen Gao plays the erhu, a two-stringed violin that rests on the thigh, is a traditional Chinese musical instrument.
The programme features traditional Chinese music, a Japanese lullaby, film music and Western light classical music. Marvellous sounds, bound to pluck your heartstrings.
